HAPPY JOINTS!
Capricorn rules the joints and the whole skeletal system. Capricorn placements and transits can bring the joints calling out for attention. There are miracles from nature that can support the joints and blending them into a tea can help decrease inflammation and soothe pain. So if your Sun, Moon, or Rising is in Capricorn, or you just want to help your joints be happy, try this tea blend.
Here are some herbs to use alone or together that flow perfectly for Happy Joints:
Steep:
~ 3-5 Rosehips (depending on size)
(Rosehips are very high in Vitamin C which is scientifically shown to reduce pain and stiffness.)
~ 1.5 Teaspoons of Nettle Leaf
(Nettle leaf has been used for centuries to treat symptoms of gout and arthritis.)
~ 1.5 Teaspoons of Willow Bark
(Willow bark has similar constituents to aspirin and has been known to have anti-inflammatory properties.)
~ 1/2 Teaspoon of Fresh or Powdered Ginger
(Ginger has been know to have an analgesic effect/lessen pain.)
~ 1 Teaspoon of Green Tea
(Green Tea (and even black and white tea) can block the inflammatory cascade in the body to interrupt the inflammatory cycle.)
in 8-10 oz of pure hot water.
Note that I only use and recommend organic herbs. Also note that I am not a doctor so it is important for you to research each herb recommended to see possible contraindications for your situation. While herbal teas are sold extensively, easily accessed, and they are often safe, especially for occasional use, plants can be very potent, especially when used for a duration of time, and education is recommended to ensure safety for you and whoever you may be serving.
