Taurus – July 2023

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins is very favorable now. 

The area lit up for you know also rules information: the taking in of it and the sharing of it. Anything notable in these areas are fair game to be brought into the forefront. Education and research projects are well-supported at this time.

Writing, editing, publishing, or other projects involving sharing information may come into focus now.  It is amazing time for editing, reworking, finishing projects already in process.

Your communication devices, transportation equipment (cars, bikes, etc.), and other electronics may be on your radar for an upgrade. This is a time that is more clear in the stars for making these types of purchases.

Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. Don’t be surprised to have some notable contact from one of these relatives and if you have the urge to check in with one or more of them, following that urge may prove quite timely.  

The Sun’s transit here can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring wonderful opportunities.   

July carries us into a break from the intensity of the eclipse cycles. This break continues through August. By now, the changes that came from the April and May eclipses are starting to work their way into your new normal. Integration and advancement on the themes brought up by the eclipses will continue.

July has a very notable transit ~ Venus officially going retrograde. We started the shadow period of this transit towards the end of June and now in July, themes that started to sprout then are revving up. 

Venus rules money and finances, love and relationships, beauty, aesthetics and design. Expect these topics to come up in noteworthy ways.

The retrograde tends to bring things back from the past, so maybe money owed to you will come in, or a business idea you started working on before will come back into focus. In love, maybe a previous love will return, or zest comes back to your current relationship. 

Sometimes in a retrograde you get the chance to un-do something that was done, like forgiveness for a past hurt, re-doing of a design element that has been calling out for adjustment, or healing a physical (or other) scar.

Strong Cancer energies will bring focus to home, family, housing, and real estate. Also a common topic at this time is home-based work or business. Emotions will likely run high either through conflicts or wonderful family experiences.

Strong Leo energies all month bring zesty creative potentials. Romantic potentials, fun and frolic, focus on children, hobbies and pleasure, are all increased in potential as three planets (Venus, Mars, and the Sun) carry Leo flair.

Mars moving into Virgo brings focus on details and a discerning eye for streamlining work and improving productivity.
