Sagittarius – October 2020

The Sun lights up your 11th house this month, bringing with it a flurry of social and networking opportunities.  Event invites (live and online), will likely roll in, bringing fantastic networking potential and new or deepened friendships and group affiliations.  It is a great time to be out (or in) and connecting with others (as circumstances allow). Key new relationships may come in at this time and also people from the past could come return.

This transit also favors group and team activities of all kinds. While those activities may have to be virtual because of various possible impediments to live connections, group and team potentials burn bright at this time. Whether you are the leader of the group or an invitee, power is in numbers for you this month.  Getting to better understand social media as it relates to you or your business interests is a great idea right now.

Checking up on internet and communication security and privacy is a great idea now.  You may be surprised to see what information is public that you don’t want to be that way.  Appropriately adjusting privacy settings and securing document and device back-up are top on my list for you now.

This is a great time to evaluate and appropriately tweak your relationship with technology and social media. There may be opportunities to address issues with your relationship to friends, social circles, and social media at this time and you may decide to take a break from some of it.  This is a great time for that but do stay open to other ways Spirit is trying to connect you with others at this time since this time holds such great potential for important connections with people who may hold keys to your goals.

The topic of online dating or people you know trying to set you up with someone.  Also, someone you know may try to connect you with someone for other reasons besides dating, like a work-related project or something else you need help with or that you could help someone with. 

The dating scene could be very lively now.  The energies especially strong for people from the past coming back in a notable way. If there is someone you connected with in the past that you still think about, this could be a time when you re-connect. NEW LOVE can also hold strong promise at this time. Just be aware that as Mars retro energies get stronger, romance that was previously strong may start to fizzle.

Community events and projects and networking (in person as circumstances allow, or online) may also take center stage.  This is a fantastic time to connect with people with whom you find resonance and discuss the possibilities of working together for a shared vision in the future. If a friend or acquaintance wants to offer to connect you with someone they think can help you, it may be perfect to say yes! Follow your intuition with opportunities that come your way to tune into your perfect timing.

This area accentuated for you this month rules inventions and forward-thinking/futuristic ideas.  It can be a fantastic time for researching copyrights, patents, and other things like this. The end of November, December, and January 2021 will likely hold better energy for actually moving forward with the information you discover.

Internet-based projects are in this sector, too, and many an online connection will pop up.  If you have been needing to up your internet presence or make your burst into online work, website launches, or anything like this, this month is great for working in the back drop or experimenting with shifts to things you already are doing. The study and practice of Astrology is connected to the 11th house which is lit up for you now. You may notice an increase in interest in Astrology or that helpful resources show up to assist you in your studies or practice during this time.

The 11th house is also the house of your BIG DREAMS, not the ones you have at night, but the ones you have for the future.  When the Sun lights up this sector of your chart, it is called your Granddaddy Power Period and you get 40 wishes! (according to brilliant astrologer, Jan Spiller)

Write them down, say them out loud, and most importantly, FEEL them as if they have already come true. You can create your wish something like this ~ I am so glad that this ….. (add in the thing you desire) has come to fruition in a magical way.  This puts the focus on the wish ALREADY HAVE COME TRUE which helps your subconscious mind to create it so 🙂

Libra and Scorpio transits bring important people and financial topics to the forefront.

Navigating the arenas of shared resources will likely come into focus at this time.

Two Full Moons this month (on October 1 and 31) bring high emotion and intense fruition. The second one (on October 31) is a BLUE MOON! The veils between worlds will be especially thin at this time and extra magic (and possibly mayhem) will be afoot.

Mercury retrograde in a water sign (Scorpio) adds to the high emotion of the month and brings things back from the past in notable ways. Mercury is retrograde from October 13 – November 3 with the shadow periods stretching beforehand starting from September 24 and afterwards until November 20. Changes in plans are more likely and sudden opportunities or other things that need or attention will likely pop up. Uncertainty and confusion can come in as things that seemed solid appear to shift. Mars officially shifts into retrograde September 9 – November 14 bringing a slow down of ambitions and for some, downright laziness. Using your ingenuity to figure out ways to do get responsibilities managed could be especially rewarding now. A major thing to now about this transit is to not push anything that isn’t naturally flowing and to avoid attacking or using force towards someone or something as it is more likely to boomerang back to you. 

Mars retrograde is an amazing time for rest, vacations, stay-cations and play-cations. You will likely be glad if you choose avoid unnecessary, uninteresting, high-stress projects or ones that have demanding deadlines. Casual and flexible study or other projects are well-indicated now – basically anything that is fun for you and allows you step away from it as you are drawn. Four earth trines can bring massive material manifestation this month!  (There were also six of these in September!) Sweet outcomes from things that were challenges in the past are more likely now.

October, November, and December return us to ‘Eclipse Season’ and the final conclusions to the outer planet clashes in Capricorn that have radically changed our world will come to pass.

This time will vibrate with stress and uncertainty but also with alchemical potentials to turn lead to gold.

If your birthday is late in the sign (or if you are reading for your rising sign and have a late degree) this report will start to be relevant for you towards the end of the month, for earlier in the month you many find that the Capricorn Horoscope is more relevant for you.
