Pisces – May 2020

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar.  Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins is very favorable now. 

Writing, editing, publishing, or other projects involving sharing information may come into focus now.  It is amazing time for editing, reworking, finishing projects already in process.

If you are due to upgrade your communication devices and modes of transportation (aka thinking of buying a new vehicle, phone, computer, etc.), you may get some great deals on the new purchase.  Just make sure you don’t spend more than you can afford or pay more than something is worth. I teach about many guidelines to consider when making purchases in Venus retrograde, I recommend you explore the links to these resources thoroughly before making major purchases. Venus retro can be a bargain hunters delight but there are some things to watch out for.

Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. Don’t be surprised to have some notable contact from one of these relatives and if you have the urge to check in with one or more of them, following that urge may prove quite timely.  

The Suns transit here can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring wonderful opportunities.   

Taurus energies bring great focus and discipline earlier in the month then Gemini takes over as the dominating force bringing excess physical and mental activity, scatteredness and movement. The Venus retrograde shadow period runs through May 12 with the official Venus retro transit starting May 13 and running through June 25, with a post shadow period going until the very end of July 2020. Venus rules love, beauty, money, design, self-esteem – so LOTS of area affected by this transit! The retrograde brings things on the topic of Venus back from the past into forefront, both blissful and challenging things can float back into focus to be worked with. You can see more about Venus retrograde in my video on the topic and my blog series. Here is my Venus Retrograde written version of the video with additions and updates I have made over time of people asking questions on the topic.

Eclipses often bring drama, intense endings, exciting new beginnings, and surprise trajectory changes. We have 3 eclipses this eclipse season (I am calling them the Triad of Transformation) – June 5 a Lunar eclipse at 15° of Sagittarius (starting the new Sagittarius/Gemini Eclipse cycle that runs through early 2021), a Solar eclipse at 0° of Cancer on June 21, and a second Lunar eclipse at 13° of Capricorn finishing off the Cancer/Capricorn eclipse cycle that started mid-2018. Since eclipses often start heating up with news and events 4-6 weeks (or more) before the actual eclipses, May is prime time for eclipse happenings.

If your birthday is late in the sign (or if you are reading for your rising sign and have a late degree) this report will start to be relevant for you towards the end of the month, for earlier in the month you many find that the Aries Horoscope is more relevant for you.
