Gemini – February 2023

The Sun will roll through your 9th house this month activating your interest in places far away and sense of adventure. Travel yearnings abound and in instances where you can’t make a journey physically, stepping into being an “armchair warrior” will do, where watching, reading, or listening to others’ adventures can help fill that void for travel.  Another fun way to bring the energy of different geographies into your own without leaving your town is to have culinary adventures with “theme” nights with cooking from different countries and cultures.

This is a fantastic time to learn or deepen knowledge of another language 🙂

Potentials for long-distance or international travel are especially amplified at this time. But the odds are greatly increased that any travel adventures, near or far, await. While this time holds many great potentials for travel from the astrological perspective, of course, the manifestation of these potentials will be dependent on world and your local circumstances. To whet your travel appetite for the future and have more support and resources for trips you would love to take at some point, check out my travel blog AstrologyKissedTravelBliss.com. If it is possible to get your passport app going or find the passport you already have, so your ready in case a potential comes up, then that may be a good idea 😉 Even with the uncertainty brought by the current world changes, this area being lit up in your chart could bring something notable regarding international business, languages, connections, even without actual travel. Future trips might start to take shape bringing great joy and excitement.

The Sun’s movement through your 9th house can also activate spiritual studies or church-related activities.  Inspiration and optimism often accompany this transit so have a notebook ready for the great ideas and insights that will roll through you.  Opportunities to step up your participation in Spirit-driven activities will be more likely at this time. 

The desire to learn will likely be strong this month.  Going on a ‘library bender’ is a fantastic way to use this energy.  Courses of study and education of any kind could be a great use of the current and upcoming energy.  This could be an amazing time to take courses of study for hobby, self-development, or professional reasons.

Intuition will be strong and favoring it over logic may prove extra fruitful now.

Writing, publishing, and public speaking projects are lit up BEAUTIFULLY at this time!

The draw to teach may be very strong now and favors creation of curriculum or other offerings. The house lit up for you now is also the house of publishing and public speaking. Opportunities in these arenas could come up now and the transits now could bring in big news and big opportunities.  Some of these will have some tilt to the past but there are also wonderful possibilities for totally new ideas and ventures.

The 9th house that is highlighted for you this month is all about asking bigger questions and finding transcendent solutions.  Imagine looking at any issue in your life from the top of a mountain.  The view from this perspective can often bring solutions not thought of before.  Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve problems with the same line of thinking that created the problem.”  Take this idea to anything that ails you at this time and watch the magic ?

February 2023 through early April 2023 is a magical time when any progress that seemed slow for many months, can race forward at top speed and positive changes can occur surprisingly quickly. Not only are the personal planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars) direct, ALL the OUTER PLANETS are also ALL DIRECT! This is a very rare time in the cosmos. Things that were delayed for months or even years, can manifest in days.

We are still on a break from the heat of the eclipse seasons. Enjoy it because starting in March, the waters of eclipse season start to bubble up again. The Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycle will begin again and a new polarity, Aries/Libra, will also start up.

Capricorn energies continue for the first third or so of the month can bring great focus and powers of perseverance. If you have to do something tedious any time soon (like taxes!), now could be a great time to harness the diligence you need to get numbers in order. If you are wanting to take on something else that requires organization or persistence, these Cap energies can help. Getting down to business and taking care of practical matters is another great way to use these energies. You also may be putting the final touches on a MAJOR launch or some other major chapter is about to begin and you can use this energy to help you take care of the strategic parts of the project, making sure all is ready for the push forward that is happening now.

Strong Aquarius energies from the Sun and Mercury bring in important connections with others and community efforts. Many social opportunities will pop up, as will chances to connect with neighbors or to attend local events. Internet-based activities may start taking center stage and networking can yield especially amazing results. Networking can be especially fruitful at this time. Others may hold important keys to your project or plans so saying YES when someone wants to introduce you to someone else, if your intuition says it’s a go, may be a very good idea.

Mars in Gemini brings fun relief in your busy schedule and just enough distraction for you to return refreshed to your list of things to do. If you are a writer or are otherwise creating spoken, written, or other crafts, you will be highly creative and soar through your projects. Working in short spurts might help you to be the most productive. Now that Mars is direct, topics you have been vacillating about may start to become more clear as to which option to choose.

Pisces energies from Venus through most of the month and the Sun starting around February 19, bring in opportunities for rest and retreat amidst the flurry of activity from the other placements. Taking some time to commune with nature or connect deeply with others in a quiet, private place, can bring great restoration. Art projects or spiritual studies are also well-supported by these placements.

Aries energy bursts in through Venus’ movement later in the month and is well-buoyed by Jupiters’ presence. These placements, plus the glorious event of all the planets going direct, all point towards ACTION. It is a time truly blessed for important things to be carried forth.
