Gemini – August 2021

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins is very favorable now. 

The area lit up for you know also rules information: the taking in of it and the sharing of it. Anything notable in these areas are fair game to be brought into the forefront. Education and research projects are well-supported at this time.

Writing, editing, publishing, or other projects involving sharing information may come into focus now.  It is amazing time for editing, reworking, finishing projects already in process.

If you are due to upgrade your communication devices and modes of transportation (aka thinking of buying a new vehicle, phone, computer, etc.), July 8 through September 7 is a great open window for making important purchases as this time will be free from personal planet retrograde influences.

Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. Don’t be surprised to have some notable contact from one of these relatives and if you have the urge to check in with one or more of them, following that urge may prove quite timely.  

The Sun’s transit here can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring wonderful opportunities.   

August 2021 continues the open stars that started around July 7 and that run until around September 7. Open stars tend to bring more clarity, forward movement, and greater visibility for planning. Momentum could return in certain areas and get dialed back in others. Trust the flow.

There are several amazing aspects with Uranus this month, increasing the chance of exciting breakthroughs, exhilarating positive change, and happy surprises. Expect the unexpected.

A Full/Blue Moon in Aquarius on August 21 can also bring rare opportunities, interesting developments, and magical transformation. 

Strong Leo energies continue bringing renewed creative spark and focus on fun, hobbies, self-expression, and leadership. Children and romance are two others topics brought into the forefront under the Leo influences.

Strong Virgo energies build bringing attention to details, organization, systems, and planning. Powers of focus are strong now which you can use to clear up projects you may have been avoiding or too distracted to sit down and finish.
