Capricorn – September 2022

The Sun will roll through your 9th house this month activating your interest in places far away and sense of adventure. Travel yearnings abound and in instances where you can’t make a journey physically, stepping into being an “armchair warrior” will do, where watching, reading, or listening to others’ adventures can help fill that void for travel.  Another fun way to bring the energy of different geographies into your own without leaving your town is to have culinary adventures with “theme” nights with cooking from different countries and cultures.

This is a fantastic time to learn or deepen knowledge of another language 🙂

Potentials for long-distance or international travel are especially amplified at this time. But the odds are greatly increased that any travel adventures, near or far, await. While this time holds many great potentials for travel from the astrological perspective, of course, the manifestation of these potentials will be dependent on world and your local circumstances. If it is possible to get your passport app going or find the passport you already have, so your ready in case a potential comes up, then that may be a good idea 😉 Even with the uncertainty brought by the current world changes, this area being lit up in your chart could bring something notable regarding international business, languages, connections, even without actual travel. Future trips might start to take shape bringing great joy and excitement.

The Sun’s movement through your 9th house can also activate spiritual studies or church-related activities.  Inspiration and optimism often accompany this transit so have a notebook ready for the great ideas and insights that will roll through you.  Opportunities to step up your participation in Spirit-driven activities will be more likely at this time. 

The desire to learn will likely be strong this month.  Going on a ‘library bender’ is a fantastic way to use this energy.  Courses of study and education of any kind could be a great use of the current and upcoming energy.  This could be an amazing time to take courses of study for hobby, self-development, or professional reasons.

Intuition will be strong and favoring it over logic may prove extra fruitful now.

Writing, publishing, and public speaking projects are lit up BEAUTIFULLY at this time!

The draw to teach may be very strong now and favors creation of curriculum or other offerings. The house lit up for you now is also the house of publishing and public speaking. Opportunities in these arenas could come up now and the transits now could bring in big news and big opportunities.  Some of these will have some tilt to the past but there are also wonderful possibilities for totally new ideas and ventures.

The 9th house that is highlighted for you this month is all about asking bigger questions and finding transcendent solutions.  Imagine looking at any issue in your life from the top of a mountain.  The view from this perspective can often bring solutions not thought of before.  Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve problems with the same line of thinking that created the problem.”  Take this idea to anything that ails you at this time and watch the magic ?

September 2022 starts the last eclipse season of the year! The bubbling up of manifestations from the Scorpio Solar Eclipse at 2° on October 25 and Taurus Lunar Eclipse at 16° on November 8 are likely to start to surface in September as “eclipse season” begins around 4-6 weeks BEFORE the actual eclipses start. Eclipse season tends to bring non-negotiable endings, exciting new beginnings, profound spiritual transformation, and surprising trajectory shifts. Drama, anxiety, insomnia, and feelings of profound changes afoot are all things that we tend to experience more notably as eclipse season deepens.

The tides are now strongly flowing inward and backward as we are both starting Mercury retrograde AND the pre-transit shadow period of Mars retrograde (with the Mars retro officially starting October 30). Dealing with things that come in to you on the tides, clearing up unfinished business, editing or revising, and leaving space for last minute magic. Leaving yourself as unscheduled as possible helps you to leave room for sudden surprise opportunities that tend to arise during the retro times. 

A continuation of strong Virgo energies help with editing, discipline, anything detail-oriented, anything on the topic of streamlining or organization, and also with anything in the health or wellness sector. If you are wanting to make some headway on a new regimen, have diagnostics, find new practitioners, supplements, diet, or other practices that require routine, additionally pets and animals.

This month is truly a blessed time to get down to business and experiment with a new routine that can bring you great joy. The details of the schedule you set may not be long-lived but you can set an awesome groove for a short period of time that is super efficient and productive. You can catch up with rote work you have been avoiding or that has piled up, and accomplish a great amount in a short time.

Mars in Gemini brings fun relief in your busy schedule and just enough distraction for you to return refreshed to your list of things to do. If you are a writer or are otherwise creating spoken, written, or other crafts, you will be highly creative and soar through your projects. Working in short spurts might help you to be the most productive.

There are 4 Earth Trines and 1 Air Trine this month bringing sweet blessings throughout the month. A Trine is the most favorable aspect in all of astrology and often places great things right in our laps either from past work or completely randomly.
