Aries – June 2021

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins is very favorable now. 

The area lit up for you know also rules information: the taking in of it and the sharing of it. Anything notable in these areas are fair game to be brought into the forefront. Education and research projects are well-supported at this time.

Writing, editing, publishing, or other projects involving sharing information may come into focus now.  It is amazing time for editing, reworking, finishing projects already in process.

If you are due to upgrade your communication devices and modes of transportation (aka thinking of buying a new vehicle, phone, computer, etc.), July 8 through September 7 is a great open window for making important purchases as this time will be free from personal planet retrograde influences.

Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. Don’t be surprised to have some notable contact from one of these relatives and if you have the urge to check in with one or more of them, following that urge may prove quite timely.  

The Sun’s transit here can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring wonderful opportunities.   

June brings a “Quadruple Boom” with 4 major factors making this one of the most astrologically busy months of the whole year of 2021.

~ Solar Eclipse in Gemini

~ Jupiter Retrograde

~ 2nd of 3 connections of mega-powerful outer planets through a Saturn/Uranus Square

In June through around July 7, we descend into Mercury retrograde energies which bring us more inward and backward. Things that seemed certain like plans and agreements, are more likely to get called into question as the month progresses. Things planned could still work out, but usually tests or uncertainty will come first. Adopting an attitude of flexibility and commitment to going along for the ride, can make for some surprisingly great experience or fun splashing in the puddles of rain that may fall on your planned parade. 

June continues our time in the heat of eclipse season, which is known for radical changes, dramatic endings, and brilliant new beginnings. Eclipses in the Sagittarius/Gemini polarity, as we have in May with a Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius at 5°, and this month, June 10 a Solar Eclipse at 19° of Gemini, tend to activate travel, move along publishing projects, bring focus to transportation and communication (and their devices or modes), and highlight topics of teaching and learning methods and plans of education. The effects of the May eclipse will still be potent in June, as well.

The planet of benevolence, luck and optimism moves backwards for 4 months starting in June, changing perspectives and bringing all things ruled by Jupiter into question or more in the backdrop to work with. Jupiter retrograde helps us to fine-tune and streamline our efforts showing us how to work less and have those efforts reach further. This transit could test optimism but through this process, shoring up unavoidable realistic details for visionary projects and other big life dreams.

Saturn and Uranus have been bringing major weather, earth, political, and other events since early in 2021. These themes remain in effect for all of 2021 with hotspots occurring during each of the 3 exact connections, the second of which is this month. See my video on the topic for more details.
