Aquarius – August 2020

This month is ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS.  Friends, co-workers, clients, business partners, romantic partners or interests will take center stage.  Topics like finding clarity about where you stand with people important to you, your relationship to them, and how it is best to move forward with re-connecting, collaborating, committing, or splitting will all take major focus at this time.  Unresolved issues in relationships may come back into the forefront as may people from the past. Fun, romance, and flow could return to relationships in which they had become absent or challenged.

The relationship with self is the primary relationship from which everything else extends and this time can offer great opportunities to evaluate inner issues honestly and motivate to take action on shifting individual patterns that can have profound effects on relationship patterns with others.

This sector that focuses on relationships, also includes the finding of perfect helpers.  Anything from finding the perfect medical practitioner, therapist, electrician, accountant, administrator, has more promise now.  Any type of professional that could help you in any area of your life, has an increased potential to be drawn to you right now!  Wonderful synergistic arrangements hold great promise now.

This sector of the chart also has to do with aesthetics so you may have the urge to decorate, spruce up, or move things around, or make personal beauty changes. Venus retrograde generally better supports low stakes, inexpensive, easy to change design moves. If you are on a budget, into environmentally-friendly focus, or just want to incorporate bonding with your friends, or meeting new friends into your redecorating process, something fun is to have a ‘home item swap party’ with friends.  Each person bringing a potluck food/drink item to share and some items from their home that they are done with.  Everyone will leave from this gathering with new items without spending any money 

It is also a great time for entertaining, and a magical time for friends, fun, and gatherings. If the circumstances prevent in-person connecting, virtual friend or group connections could be how the energy manifests.

We shift out of the heaviness, high emotion, and confusion of Venus and Mercury retrogrades and the eclipses by August. While some eclipse-related news may still come in, this month is more about finding “the new normal” in the world and in our individual experience. Many themes of home/housing/real estate/family/mother figures and work/employment/business/bosses/authority and father figures will have notable news and major wrap up now. 

This month will be awkward because of an abundance of 150° angle line-up’s with the stars and there are more than twice as many challenging aspects as sweet ones. But even so, Mars continuing direct movement through its native sign Aries will bring momentum and help gel into place options or new directions that came from the eclipses. Use well the momentum especially towards the earlier part of August as Mars will start to lose its thunder and shift into retrograde phase deeper daily through August until its official retrograde starting September 9 and going through November 14 (with the post-transit shadow period going into the beginning of 2021). (I still love best the time from July 22-28 for anything important: launches, big decisions, contracts, moves, and large purchases. It is the most clear will have the stars for things like this until the end of the year/early 2021).

Two fierce aspects involving Mars and Saturn, and Mars and Pluto, will bring Mars retrograde themes in with a bang. Be extra careful with life and limb this month. Understanding the energy of the impending Mars retro will help to direct you towards activities that will roll better with the themes of this time. If your birthday is late in the sign (or if you are reading for your rising sign and have a late degree) this report will start to be relevant for you towards the end of the month, for earlier in the month you many find that the Pisces Horoscope is more relevant for you.
