Aquarius – April 2022

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects build.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in the likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins are very favorable now. 

The area lit up for you know also rules information: the taking in of it and the sharing of it. Anything notable in these areas is fair game to be brought into the forefront. Education and research projects are well-supported at this time.

Writing, editing, publishing, or other projects involving sharing information may come into focus now.  It is an amazing time for editing, reworking, finishing projects already in process.

If you are due to upgrade your communication devices and modes of transportation (aka thinking of buying a new vehicle, phone, computer, etc.), this could be a perfect time.

Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. Don’t be surprised to have some notable contact from one of these relatives and if you have the urge to check in with one or more of them, following that urge may prove quite timely.  

The Sun’s transit here can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring wonderful opportunities.   

April 2022 is a time for ACTION. We are clear from the personal planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars) being retro or their shadow periods for the first time in many months and that means it is a time for more clarity, ambition, and big decisions. It is a better time for making plans than it has been and you may notice things you have been wanting to do, magically progressing after a while of being stalled out. The doors are flung open, fresh with new opportunities and potential for massive forward movement.

This beautiful open window where the tides are going out will last from around March 3 through around April 27. Take full advantage of it because we only have two such open periods in all of 2022! 

ECLIPSE SEASON IS HERE, which is a several-month period where negative karmic patterns can clear quickly and your wildest dreams can manifest, but to open the space for the new, some big goodbyes may occur. 

April 30 brings a solar eclipse at 10° of Taurus and May 16 brings a lunar eclipse at 25° of Scorpio. The Taurus/Scorpio eclipse cycle started at the end of 2021 and its influence runs through the end of 2023. Aries energies bring zest, decisive action, bold decisions, and inspiration. The Aries energies can also bring aggression and arguments so tune and pick your battles wisely.

Pisces influences bring great opportunities for emotional connections, spiritual work, artistic endeavors, and diving deep into psychology, genetics, genealogy, or anything else that works with the subconscious mind or the ways we are affected by lesser-seen variables in our lives. The Pisces energies can also bring in confusion and disillusion, the feeling like the ground is dissolving out from under you, casting uncertainty. This is likely to be short term but it may be helpful to find your certainty before acting if it is in your hands.

Aquarius influences bring a strong social component, and the draw to connect with like-minded people or in some way working on a common goal with a group. 

Jupiter Conjunct Neptune in Pisces is a very rare transit that influences from March through May with the strongest influence in April. The last time these planets got together in this sign was 1856! See my detailed video to understand the potential of the connection.
