Happy Birthday, Virgo friends!!  This month brings a massive amount of energy for you to use however you want!  With the Sun lighting up your 1st house, and in your own sign, the awesome possibilities burn bright.  This is a time for rebirth and you can maximize your new chapters by taking the time to go within and figure out what you really want.  Birthday wishes are real and you get 10 of them!  Write them down, say them out loud, and most importantly, FEEL them as if they have already come true.  You can phrase them something like this:  I am so grateful that my desire for …… has been fulfilled in a magical way!  This method employs the energy of desire that is true to the transit and focuses on the fulfillment, not the lack of, which is the absolute key to manifestation.  You can see more about this in my video,

The 1st house that is highlighted for you now is all about what you put out into the world/how the world sees you.  Are you doing things that match how you want to be received?  If not, how can you change aspects of your life where there is a disconnect to create coherence between what you want to be seen as and how you are showing up.

Often the Sun’s movement through this house brings attention to you.  It could throw you into the limelight bringing in recognition and/or an increase in awareness of you and your work or other projects.

This house also rules your physical body so getting into or back into a daily physical routine is imperative.  Balancing mental activity with physical movement is an important way to open up to inspiration and keep yourself healthy and mentally and emotionally clear.  

At the same time as daily movement (walking, yoga, tai chi, etc.) is helpful for focus and reaching goals.  Complementary stillness of mind and body through meditation is helps to use your actions most efficiently.

Even something simple like 20 minutes of physical exercise and 5-10 minutes of daily meditation can do a world of wondrous good 🙂

If you have physical ailments, the Sun’s placement in the 1st house could bring new insights.  Feelings not felt, expressed with spiritual accountability, and cleared, turn into physical pain in your body.   Finding the balance between getting things out that you are feeling, without talking too much about the same thing over and over or participating in avoidance behaviors is your mission 🙂  Symptoms from the past may resurface for further attention.  

Having a daily way to cleanse your emotional field from things you tend to try to ‘work away’ is critical for your happiness and health. I love Marriage of Spirit by Leslie Temple Thurston exercises in Section 2 of the book for this (see below).

I also really love barefoot walking (which is also amazing for detoxifying) or holding your third eye and hands up on a tree (in colder weather that isn’t conducive to being barefoot) to help clear your field and balance your energy field.  You will be surprised at the wonders this simple practice could bring when done consistently.  The Earth frequency is very balancing to the human energy field and has been mitigated in more modern times because of the plastic and rubber shoe bottoms which block the energy from permeating the energy field in deeper ways. Of course, make sure the area you walk in is free of pesticides or anything else toxic that your feet could absorb.

The Sun rolls through your 2nd house this month bringing great opportunities for making more money.  Earned income often sees a boost during this transit.   If you have money-making ideas or anything related to business goals, this could be a great time to research or take big or small or steps along your continuum. 

Finances could definitely see some improvements and also note that spending also tends to increase during this transit, too. So while you see the increase in the amount coming it will likely translate to an increase in the amount going out, especially if you don’t specifically make an effort to not have your spending rise with your income. If you put aside a certain percentage of your new increased income, you will likely be glad you did.

In situations where finances are challenged, the Suns presence can help you supercharge your resourcefulness and find solutions in expected and unexpected places. Keeping your scope wide as you look for answers could help in finding resolutions that could wind up even better than before.

Mercury’s retrograde cycle begins with the pre-transit retrograde period, on August 4, the actual retrograde is from August 23 – September 4, and the post-transit flow rolls until the end of September.

Mercury’s retrograde may have brought uncertainty to plans already made, breakdown of appliances and communication, and difficulty planning too far ahead. As it moves direct, there may be more ease in planning and seeing future steps may come into view and it may be easier to hear others and be heard.

As Mercury and Venus drive certain things ahead, Jupiter will go into retrograde and certain things will start to lose fizzle.

September brings us into the heat of the next eclipse season. We have two powerful eclipses in October 2023 and both of them will become super active with potential for transformation in September. Eclipse season begins around 4-6 weeks BEFORE the actual eclipses so we may even see some August manifestations raring up. 

Changes to the Me/We sectors and My stuff/Our stuff arenas are major themes from these two eclipse cycles.

We have the second of the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began earlier in 2023 with the Black Moon Eclipse in Aries on April 20. For this cycle, we have a Solar eclipse at 21° of Libra on October 14.

This is a powerful time of closing out of themes and storylines that began in towards the end of 2021, when the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipse cycle began. The last of this cycle occurs October 28, 2023 with a lunar eclipse at 5• of Taurus. Major endings and new beginnings are very likely now!

Strong Leo energy all month bring continue to bring fiery creative potentials. Romantic potentials, fun and frolic, focus on children, hobbies and pleasure, are all increased in potential. Extra creativity may be available now and chances to lead, inspire, or in other ways show the world your gifts will abound.

Powerful Virgo transits bring focus on details and a discerning eye for streamlining work and improving productivity. Organization, pets/animals, health, and your daily routine are also under the magnifying glass at this time and may need some attention or you many have the desire to be proactive.

Growing Libra influence will bring partnerships and relationships of every kind front and center. If you need help now, the perfect person could show up soon. If you are looking to connect with others, opportunities will abound.

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins is very favorable now.

The Sun whirls through your 4th house this month bringing focus on home, real estate, and home-based ventures.

The desire to spruce up or organize home may be strong at this time. This can be an amazing time for researching big design, building, decorating projects, and doing basic maintenance, repair and sprucing up. 

This is also a fantastic month for cozying up at home. A fun project at this time is to do some Feng Shui treatments to your home. Deep cleaning, clearing clutter, and reorganizing is also in great alignment now.

Since the Sun lighting up your 4th house also means your family sector is lit up, if you are traveling this month, it is likely be to visit family or to a place that was or feels like ‘home’ or you may have family come visit you.
