Herbal Tea Blend for Taurus

Soothed Throat!

Taurus rules the throat. So if your Sun, Moon, or Rising is in Taurus, or you want to soothe and support your throat, here is a tea blend that have with ingredients that have been known to assist:

Steep:

~ 1 tablespoon of Marshmallow Root (can be powdered or not)

~ 1 tablespoon of Marshmallow Flowers

~ 1 teaspoon of Honey 

Marshmallow root and flowers are “mucilagenous”, which means they soothe and coat the throat and digestive tract. This effect can be helpful for sore throats or just to help soothe from overuse through talking, singing, or other vocal exertion. Honey is a well-known throat soother.

Note that I only use and recommend organic herbs.  Also note that I am not a doctor so it is important for you to research each herb recommended to see possible contraindications for your situation. In general, take special caution and do extra research for anything before taking while pregnant or breastfeeding. While herbal teas are sold extensively, easily accessed, and they are often safe, especially for occasional use, plants can be very potent, especially when used for a duration of time, and education is recommended to ensure safety for you and whoever you may be serving.

If you are using this blend for a sore throat, do know that sometimes sore throats can be a sign of an ailment more serious than just a passing cold so do your due diligence to follow up as necessary with your qualified health practitioner.
