Herbal Tea Blend for Leo

Strong Heart!

Leo rules the heart. So if your Sun, Moon, or Rising is in Leo, or you want strengthen your heart, here is a tea blend with ingredients that have been known to assist:

Steep:

~ 1-2 tablespoon Hawthorn berries

~ 1 tablespoon or one tea bag of Green tea

in 8-12 ounces of boiling water.

Hawthorn is believed to assist several different aspects of hearth health, as is Green tea. Note that although Green tea has less caffeine than Black tea, any caffeine can negatively affect certain heart conditions. Hawthorn is also potentially contraindicated for those already on heart prescription medications and some other pharmaceuticals. Hawthorn tea has been recommended for occasional or short-term use for those for whom it is not contraindicated. Please check with your doctor and/or pharmacist.

Note that I only use and recommend organic herbs.  Also note that I am not a doctor so it is important for you to research each herb recommended to see possible contraindications for your situation. In general, take special caution and do extra research for anything before taking while pregnant or breastfeeding.

While herbal teas are sold extensively, easily accessed, and they are often safe, especially for occasional use, plants can be very potent, especially when used for a duration of time, and education is recommended to ensure safety for you and whomever you may be serving.
