Scorpio – January 2021

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. Reconnecting with old friends, relatives, and acquaintances, or making new friends, are all more likely at this time.

Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive could come up in a big way.  Any books, classes, or other resources on improving communication to create win-wins is very favorable now. 

The area lit up for you know also rules information: the taking in of it and the sharing of it. Anything notable in these areas are fair game to be brought into the forefront. Education and research projects are well-supported at this time.

Writing, editing, publishing, or other projects involving sharing information may come into focus now.  It is amazing time for editing, reworking, finishing projects already in process.

If you are due to upgrade your communication devices and modes of transportation (aka thinking of buying a new vehicle, phone, computer, etc.), December and the first half of January have great stars for this!

Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. Don’t be surprised to have some notable contact from one of these relatives and if you have the urge to check in with one or more of them, following that urge may prove quite timely.  

The Sun’s transit here can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring wonderful opportunities.   

All systems are GO as almost all of the planets are in Direct motion (very rare!) making the first half of January 2021 are prime times for launches, moves, big decisions, and major steps, just keep caution regarding things that seem too extreme or extravagant, or if you don’t feel certain about what you are doing.

There are still bursts of fiery energy in the early part of the month but as the month progresses, the personal planets all move into Earth placements, bringing laser focus for tedious projects and mega-manifestation potential.

News and events from the November and December eclipses might still be rolling in.

Clashes between the planets Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus can bring great restlessness and epic change. Things to be careful and awareful of are aggression (from you and outside of you), unproductive zealotry, reality checks, and unwelcome surprises or other jolts. Things to celebrate are the chance to strip away massive karma, break free of chains that held you down for a long time, new solutions that can come out-of-the-blue, brilliant work/career and other financial opportunities, exciting and interesting offers and insights.

Mercury begins its slide towards retrograde mid-month and things that seemed set may be called into question. Plan changes, miscommunications, confusion and uncertainty all tend to come along with this transit, as do blasts from the past, wrapping up of unfinished business, and internal reflection.
