Mercury is in retrograde and although this transit does favor travel, it flows better with making plans with wiggle room for timing and some extra prudence. Examples of where to put a little extra focus to make your travel great are: if you are driving, get your car checked out before hand, always fill your tank when you have half a tank left, have car emergency items readily available (tire changing tools and spare tire, flashlight, etc.), make sure insurance and registration is easy to get at. If you are flying: check and double check your gate number and don’t get too engrossed in activities while you wait at the gate as the likelihood of important messages, like last-minute gate changes, will be increased, make sure you are up-to-date on the airport security requirements, carry-on and checked luggage size and weight, etc.
If you can buy tickets with flexible change options, perfect, the likelihood of plan changes are increased significantly.
Last-minute trips are always more likely in Mercury retrograde, which is perfect as this captures the flexible and flowing spirit of the transit 🙂
The Sun also brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound. This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar.
Also, opportunities to improve your personal communication style to be more effective and productive will come up in a big way.
A communication device or mode of transportation may show more signs of wear or give out at this time. If you can hold off on buying new things until at least after the first week of January, then do it. If you can’t do without and have to make the major purchase during this month, read paperwork carefully and go for the shortest-term, most flexible plan option. Keep track of paperwork as you will likely be making a second visit to the place of purchase to resolve issues from the first visit.
Things involving siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles (basically relatives that aren’t your parents or kids) may come into focus now from this transit. The Suns transit can show us things that have to be adjusted in a certain sector of life but alternatively can show us things that are great in that area and can bring great opportuntiies. If an opp comes up with one of these relatives and it is something you have already talked about in the past, take it very seriously but try to hold off on committing or implementing until at least after the first week of January. If a new idea or opportunity comes up, give it some more time to percolate before moving forward so that the missing pieces can present themselves.
If your birthday is late in the sign (or if you are reading for your rising sign and have a late degree) this report will start to be relevant for you towards the end of the month, for earlier in the month you many find that the Scorpio Horoscope is more relevant for you.
