Cancer – January 2020

This month is ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS.  Friends, co-workers, clients, business partners, romantic partners or interests will take center stage.  Topics like finding clarity about where you stand with people important to you, your relationship to them, and how it is best to move forward with re-connecting, collaborating, committing, or splitting will all take major focus at this time.  Unresolved issues in relationships may come back into the forefront as may people from the past. There are also major openings for NEW relationships or NEW potentials within current relationships. Fun, romance, and flow could return to relationships in which they had become absent or challenged.

The relationship with self is the primary relationship from which everything else extends and this time can offer great opportunities to evaluate inner issues honestly and motivate to take action on shifting individual patterns that can have profound effects on relationship patterns with others.

This sector that focuses on relationships, also includes the finding of perfect helpers.  Anything from finding the perfect medical practitioner, therapist, electrician, accountant, administrator, has more promise now.  Any type of professional that could help you in any area of your life, has an increased potential to be drawn to you right now!  Wonderful synergistic arrangements hold great promise now.

This sector of the chart also has to do with aesthetics so you may have the urge to decorate, spruce up, or move things around, or make personal beauty changes. All of January could be great for making small, easy, and inexpensive design-based decisions and purchases, but for the bigger, more expensive, and harder to change beauty or design projects or decisions, I also LOVE this month! 

If you are on a budget, into environmentally-friendly focus, or just want to incorporate bonding with your friends, or meeting new friends into your redecorating process, something fun is to have a ‘home item swap party’ with friends.  Each person bringing a potluck food/drink item to share and some items from their home that they are done with.  Everyone will leave from this gathering with new items without spending any money 

It is also a great time for entertaining, and a magical time for friends, fun, and gatherings.

The second of two powerful eclipses comes January 10, a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 20° of Cancer.  HUGE news and MAJOR changes are very likely!! 

From December 9, 2019 through through February 2, 2020 is one of the best, most wide open launch periods until 2021. Big launches, major decisions, huge steps, important plans, are all perfect for this window. So take advantage of this window for ACTION and FORWARD MOVEMENT! The rest of 2020 as we move into February is more focused inward and backward because of the string of personal planet retrogrades (Venus, Mars, and 3 Mercury). 

There will be a couple of open points amidst the retrograde wall, the last few days of March 2020 and first week or so of April 2020 and a few days towards the end of July 2020 represent an energetic ‘coming up for air’ so you can set your sights on these times for important things that can’t be implemented sooner.  After that, it will be December 2020 before there is any wearing off of the retrograde focus, and even that month is completely covered in Mars post-retrograde shadow period.  

Do keep in mind that retrogrades can be awesome for many things but for the big, never been done, launches, clarity and big decisions, the times when the personal planets are in direct motion tend to be better for launching your ships of dreams. 

If your birthday is late in the sign (or if you are reading for your rising sign and have a late degree) this report will start to be relevant for you towards the end of the month, for earlier in the month you many find that the Leo Horoscope is more relevant for you.
