Aquarius – October 2020

The Sun will roll through your 9th house this month activating your interest in places far away and sense of adventure. Travel yearnings abound and in instances where you can’t make a journey physically, stepping into being an “armchair warrior” will do, where watching, reading, or listening to others’ adventures can help fill that void for travel.  Another fun way to bring the energy of different geographies into your own without leaving your town is to have culinary adventures with “theme” nights with cooking from different countries and cultures.

Potentials for long-distance or international travel are especially amplified at this time. But the odds are greatly increased that any travel adventures, near or far, await. While this time holds many great potentials for travel from the astrological perspective, of course, the manifestation of these potentials will be dependent on world and your local circumstances. If it is possible to get your passport app going or find the passport you already have, so your ready in case a potential comes up, then that may be a good idea 😉 Even with the uncertainty brought by the current world changes, this area being lit up in your chart could bring something notable regarding international business, languages, connections, even without actual travel. Keep plans flexible as there are likely to be changes.

The Sun’s movement through your 9th house can also activate spiritual studies or church-related activities.  Inspiration and optimism often accompany this transit so have a notebook ready for the great ideas and insights that will roll through you.  Opportunities to step up your participation in Spirit-driven activities will be more likely at this time. 

The desire to learn will likely be strong this month.  Going on a ‘library bender’ is a fantastic way to use this energy.  Courses of study and education of any kind could be a great use of the current and upcoming energy.  This could be an amazing time to take courses of study for hobby, self-development, or professional reasons.

Intuition will be strong and favoring it over logic may prove extra fruitful now.

Writing, publishing, and public speaking projects are lit up BEAUTIFULLY at this time!

The draw to teach may be very strong now and favors creation of curriculum or other offerings. The house lit up for you now is also the house of publishing and public speaking. Opportunities in these arenas could come up now and the transits now could bring in big news and big opportunities.  Many of these will have some tilt to the past but there are also wonderful possibilities for totally new ideas and ventures.

The 9th house that is highlighted for you this month is all about asking bigger questions and finding transcendent solutions.  Imagine looking at any issue in your life from the top of a mountain.  The view from this perspective can often bring solutions not thought of before.  Albert Einstein said, “We cannot solve problems with the same line of thinking that created the problem.”  Take this idea to anything that ails you at this time and watch the magic 

Libra and Scorpio transits bring important people and financial topics to the forefront.

Navigating the arenas of shared resources will likely come into focus at this time.

Two Full Moons this month (on October 1 and 31) bring high emotion and intense fruition. The second one (on October 31) is a BLUE MOON! The veils between worlds will be especially thin at this time and extra magic (and possibly mayhem) will be afoot.

Mercury retrograde in a water sign (Scorpio) adds to the high emotion of the month and brings things back from the past in notable ways. Mercury is retrograde from October 13 – November 3 with the shadow periods stretching beforehand starting from September 24 and afterwards until November 20. Changes in plans are more likely and sudden opportunities or other things that need or attention will likely pop up. Uncertainty and confusion can come in as things that seemed solid appear to shift. Mars officially shifts into retrograde September 9 – November 14 bringing a slow down of ambitions and for some, downright laziness. Using your ingenuity to figure out ways to do get responsibilities managed could be especially rewarding now. A major thing to now about this transit is to not push anything that isn’t naturally flowing and to avoid attacking or using force towards someone or something as it is more likely to boomerang back to you. 

Mars retrograde is an amazing time for rest, vacations, stay-cations and play-cations. You will likely be glad if you choose avoid unnecessary, uninteresting, high-stress projects or ones that have demanding deadlines. Casual and flexible study or other projects are well-indicated now – basically anything that is fun for you and allows you step away from it as you are drawn. Four earth trines can bring massive material manifestation this month!  (There were also six of these in September!) Sweet outcomes from things that were challenges in the past are more likely now.

October, November, and December return us to ‘Eclipse Season’ and the final conclusions to the outer planet clashes in Capricorn that have radically changed our world will come to pass.

This time will vibrate with stress and uncertainty but also with alchemical potentials to turn lead to gold.

If your birthday is late in the sign (or if you are reading for your rising sign and have a late degree) this report will start to be relevant for you towards the end of the month, for earlier in the month you many find that the Pisces Horoscope is more relevant for you.
