The Sun lights up your 11th house this month, bringing with it a flurry of social and networking opportunities.  Event invites (live and online), will likely roll in, bringing fantastic networking potential and new or deepened friendships and group affiliations.  It is a great time to be out (or in) and connecting with others (as circumstances allow). Key new relationships may come in at this time and also people from the past could come return.

This transit also favors group and team activities of all kinds. All virtual and live connections, and group and team potentials burn bright at this time. Whether you are the leader of the group or an invitee, power is in numbers for you this month.  Getting to better understand social media as it relates to you or your business interests is a great idea right now.

Checking up on internet and communication security and privacy is a great idea now.  You may be surprised to see what information is public that you don’t want to be that way.  Appropriately adjusting privacy settings and securing document and device back-up are top on my list for you now.

This is a great time to evaluate and appropriately tweak your relationship with technology and social media. There may be opportunities to address issues with your relationship to friends, social circles, and social media at this time and you may decide to take a break from some of it.  This is a great time for that but do stay open to other ways Spirit is trying to connect you with others at this time since this time holds such great potential for important connections with people who may hold keys to your goals.

The topic of online dating or people you know trying to set you up with someone is lit up at this time.  Also, someone you know may try to connect you with someone for other reasons besides dating, like a work-related project or something else you need help with or that you could help someone with. 

The dating scene could be very lively now.  Someone from the past could resurface on a romantic level, or you could go to new levels with your current partner. New love could also come in now.

Community events and projects and networking (in person as circumstances allow, or online) may also take center stage.  This is a fantastic time to connect with people with whom you find resonance and discuss the possibilities of working together for a shared vision in the future. If a friend or acquaintance wants to offer to connect you with someone they think can help you, it may be perfect to say yes! Follow your intuition with opportunities that come your way to tune into your perfect timing.

This area accentuated for you this month rules inventions and forward-thinking/futuristic ideas.  It can be a fantastic time for researching copyrights, patents, and other things like this.

Internet-based projects are in this sector, too, and many an online connection will pop up.  If you have been needing to up your internet presence or want to make your burst into online work, or things having to do with websites or other web-based projects, this month is great for researching, working in the back drop or experimenting with shifts to things you already are doing. The study and practice of Astrology is connected to the 11th house which is lit up for you now. You may notice an increase in interest in Astrology or that helpful resources show up to assist you in your studies or practice during this time.

The 11th house is also the house of your BIG DREAMS, not the ones you have at night, but the ones you have for the future.  When the Sun lights up this sector of your chart, it is called your Granddaddy Power Period and you get 40 wishes! (according to brilliant astrologer, Jan Spiller)

Write them down, say them out loud, and most importantly, FEEL them as if they have already come true. You can create your wish something like this ~ I am so glad that this ….. (add in the thing you desire) has come to fruition in a magical way.  This puts the focus on the wish ALREADY HAVE COME TRUE which helps your subconscious mind to create it so 🙂

Both Mercury and Venus awaken from their retrograde slumbers in September and as they do, you will see many things that had stalled out start to blaze ahead.

Venus retrograde has been a long transit with the pre-transit shadow period beginning June 19, the actual retrograde starting July 23 staying retrograde until September 4, with the post-transit shadow period lasting until October 6, 2023.

Venus rules many areas of life, including love, relationships, money, finances, design, and fashion. Recent months likely brought opportunities to reconsider, address, and fine-tune things in these arenas of life. More clarity may come on any Venus-ruled topics that had been cast into uncertainty during the retrograde cycle.

Even though the retrograde energies will be dissipating every day, they will still be present. Mercury’s retrograde cycle begins with the pre-transit retrograde period, on August 4, the actual retrograde is from August 23 – September 4, and the post-transit flow rolls until the end of September.

Mercury’s retrograde may have brought uncertainty to plans already made, breakdown of appliances and communication, and difficulty planning too far ahead. As it moves direct, there may be more ease in planning and seeing future steps may come into view and it may be easier to hear others and be heard.

As Mercury and Venus drive certain things ahead, Jupiter will go into retrograde and certain things will start to lose fizzle.

September brings us into the heat of the next eclipse season. We have two powerful eclipses in October 2023 and both of them will become super active with potential for transformation in September. Eclipse season begins around 4-6 weeks BEFORE the actual eclipses so we may even see some August manifestations raring up. 

Changes to the Me/We sectors and My stuff/Our stuff arenas are major themes from these two eclipse cycles.

We have the second of the Aries/Libra eclipse cycle which began earlier in 2023 with the Black Moon Eclipse in Aries on April 20. For this cycle, we have a Solar eclipse at 21° of Libra on October 14.

This is a powerful time of closing out of themes and storylines that began in towards the end of 2021, when the Taurus/Scorpio Eclipse cycle began. The last of this cycle occurs October 28, 2023 with a lunar eclipse at 5• of Taurus. Major endings and new beginnings are very likely now!

Strong Leo energy all month bring continue to bring fiery creative potentials. Romantic potentials, fun and frolic, focus on children, hobbies and pleasure, are all increased in potential. Extra creativity may be available now and chances to lead, inspire, or in other ways show the world your gifts will abound.

Powerful Virgo transits bring focus on details and a discerning eye for streamlining work and improving productivity. Organization, pets/animals, health, and your daily routine are also under the magnifying glass at this time and may need some attention or you many have the desire to be proactive.

Growing Libra influence will bring partnerships and relationships of every kind front and center. If you need help now, the perfect person could show up soon. If you are looking to connect with others, opportunities will abound.

The Sun brings attention to your 10th house this month.  The 10th house rules your work and career.  This transit could bring hard-won recognition.  It could also bring scrutiny from yourself as you look at your work and see if it matches what you really want to do.  In the case where you are not really excited about your field of work or workplace, you may be very motivated to make some strides towards changing that. 

Employment changes or the process of considering a change or looking into options are all more likely at this time. Be open to the possibility that although stress and uncertainty may be brought by these changes, there could be opportunities to create more of the life you have envisioned for yourself that you were too hesitant to jump into without the intense provocation or other incentive that could come now.

The Suns’ placement in this sector could bring some insights into your true calling and luck in finding a more perfect match.

New opportunities or ones from the past through ideas, clients, contacts, or anything else could help in a big way. This is a great time start (or continue) to put together your plan for changing directions. Taking steps in the backdrop, experimenting with a new path, and researching/gathering information are well-supported at this time. 

If you already love your work you may find you are extra-excited now about it and could be entering a Renaissance Period with your work.  Past labors can show up now in major ways. Opportunities, projects, or contacts from the past can resurface with new life. Opportunities can come in suddenly or things planned in the past could work out in a wonderful way now.

Prepare to be busy and have a focus on business, getting organized, taking care of practical necessities in the forefront.

For those who are retired or for whom ‘work/career’ isn’t relevant, and also for all others still in the workplace, the 10th house focus may cause you to be asking for or finding insights about your higher purpose.  Contemplation about a plan that would put you on a path where you feel ‘on track’ is great use of the potentials of this month and education and looking into options are great ways to use the the energies so there is plenty of room to explore, wonder, and dream, as well as looking deep into things relevant to your higher work in the world all month and beyond through the year.  Even if you can’t see exactly where you are going, taking obvious steps that present themselves now can feel very fulfilling and lead you on a powerful path of positive change.  It is an amazing time to ‘try things on’ and experiment. Something exciting to say YES to could come up that brings you great joy.

Since this house also rules father energy, you could find yourself focusing on your dad (or other father figure), or some situation of note may come up involving him. Maybe is going through something and he needs help or he could be assisting you in some way. It might be a good time to check in with him or work on your relationship in some way.

August continues the two month break from the intensity of the eclipse cycles. This break ends after this month as the next eclipse season will start to bubble stronger in September. By now, the changes that came from the April and May eclipses are starting to work their way into your new normal. Integration and advancement on the themes brought up by the eclipses will continue.

It is a time to leave yourself as unscheduled as possible and plan to work on projects that have piled up, rather than putting too much attention to major new endeavors (although if an opportunity comes up that is “new”, don’t hesitate to take it if your intuition is telling to, just know that it may be shorter-term or turn out differently than expected). Great joy can be found in creative and organizational endeavors at this time and sudden travel opportunities may arise.

The Sun will roll through your 9th house this month activating your interest in places far away and sense of adventure. Travel yearnings abound and in instances where you can’t make a journey physically, stepping into being an “armchair warrior” will do, where watching, reading, or listening to others’ adventures can help fill that void for travel.  Another fun way to bring the energy of different geographies into your own without leaving your town is to have culinary adventures with “theme” nights with cooking from different countries and cultures.

This is a fantastic time to learn or deepen knowledge of another language 🙂

Potentials for long-distance or international travel are especially amplified at this time. But the odds are greatly increased that any travel adventures, near or far, await. While this time holds many great potentials for travel from the astrological perspective, of course, the manifestation of these potentials will be dependent on world and your local circumstances. If it is possible to get your passport app going or find the passport you already have, so your ready in case a potential comes up, then that may be a good idea 😉 This area being lit up in your chart could bring something notable regarding international business, languages, connections, even without actual travel. The Sun’s movement through your 9th house can also activate spiritual studies or church-related activities.  Inspiration and optimism often accompany this transit so have a notebook ready for the great ideas and insights that will roll through you.  Opportunities to step up your participation in Spirit-driven activities will be more likely at this time. 

The desire to learn will likely be strong this month.  Going on a ‘library bender’ is a fantastic way to use this energy.  Courses of study and education of any kind could be a great use of the current and upcoming energy.  This could be an amazing time to take courses of study for hobby, self-development, or professional reasons.

This month brings the urge to merge.  Win-win outcomes and advancements on joint projects are a wonderful outcome of this time especially IF you do the work to make it work 😉

As the Sun moves through your sector of “other peoples money”, things like inheritances, sweepstakes, lotto or other winnings, credit, debt, loans, venture capital, spousal money, family money, shared money etc. are all more likely to be brought into the forefront.  Money and other support can come from anywhere and is more likely to present at this time.

Re-evaluating past strategies or returning to things that worked in the past can be very fruitful now. New strategies or experiments could work great now, too.

There may be opportunities to collaborate with or empower others or receive great support on any level at this time.  This time holds wonderful promise for opportunities from the past to bubble up in magical ways and also for new potentials.

Topics of psychology, astrology, tarot, numerology, sex, power, and esoteric subjects can light up bright this month.  It is a fantastic time to read, watch, or listen to a fantastic mystery, including ancient mysteries. It is also a great time to explore and prepare your space for greater intimacy.

Lovers or relationship issues or opportunities from the past are may resurface at this time.  Unresolved psychological issues related to intimacy and anything else are more likely to come back up.  There is great opportunity for resolution.  Also this could be an amazing time for new love relationships or new levels of current romantic relationships. Be awake to the synchronicities 🙂

Dramatic spiritual breakthroughs are common during this transit.  The more you use the energy for going deep, the more riches you will find.  There is much potential for life-changing transformation for you at this time of the year for you!  Self-development work can carry further and radical changes in perception and experience can occur.

June is one of the few months of the whole of 2023 where the predominant energy is DIRECT. As a result the stars are ripe and ready for important actions that you want to have stamina for a long time. We are leaving the strongest heat of eclipse season this month but there may be much movement along the lines of information that had come in from previous months. The first 3 weeks of June may be an especially good time to make necessary decisions based on what happened from the eclipses recently.

Strong Gemini energies bring movement and high levels of communication and social interaction. Driving all over the place, or in other ways being transported, will be very likely through this whole month. Chatting it up with friends and family is another way this energy could manifest. New friends or blasts from the past may come in. It is a time rich with expression of every kind.

Cancer vibes bring warm emotional connections and focus on home and family. Fixing up home space, moving, visiting friends or family, or having company are all some ways this energy could manifest. 

Leo transits bring zesty creative expression, and a focus on FUN. Romance, dating, relationships and children are all in Leo’s domain and you may find these energies sprouting beautifully at this time. This a great month to do things you have always wanted to do.

This month is ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS.  Friends, co-workers, clients, business partners, romantic partners or interests will take center stage.  Topics like finding clarity about where you stand with people important to you, your relationship to them, and how it is best to move forward with re-connecting, collaborating, committing, or splitting will all take major focus at this time.  Unresolved issues in relationships may come back into the forefront as may people from the past. Streamlining your schedule and improving time management are great areas of focus at this time. Working smarter instead of working harder will carry better outcomes now and strategizing ways to do this can be very fruitful at this time. 

Notable occurrences at the office could come up and for both those who are self-employed and those in an office or other employment setting. Issues or opportunities with some link to the past are more likely now. 

Employment may be a hot topic at this time. If changes or uncertainty come to your work place, hold open the idea that any changes that come now, even if they feel unwelcome, could place you on a path for greater happiness and fulfillment in the longer term. Your resourcefulness has a chance to soar tremendously at this time and will be amplified the more you focus on it.

Clearing clutter and bringing coherence to your outer and inner realms will be time well-supported at this time.  Something fun you can do is play my “Ten Things” game.  I created this to help me clear clutter.  Every day for a certain amount of time I committed to in advance (1 week, 1 month, etc.) I would make the agreement with myself that I would just have to deal with 10 things that were sitting around out of place.  What I found (as you may find) that once I got started (which seems to be the hardest part), I would go well past dealing with only 10 things as momentum was built from the minimum commitment. This is a great exercise when you feel unmotivated, overwhelmed, or are crazy busy 🙂

Speaking of ‘exercise’, the Sun is accentuating your house of exercise and other health regimens this month, too (also 6th house affairs). This energy will likely highlight exercise regimens, diets, practitioners, treatments, routines, etc.

New health issues or ones from the past may resurface now or become more obvious to give attention to. You may make some important health discoveries or find solutions at any time this month.  This is a time when diagnostics and other things to get down into the details of your health, healing, and exercise and diet regimen come into the forefront. February 2023 through April 7, 2023 is a magical time when any progress that seemed slow for many months, can race forward at top speed and positive changes can occur surprisingly quickly. Not only are the personal planets (Mercury, Venus, and Mars) direct, ALL the OUTER PLANETS are also ALL DIRECT! This is a very rare time in the cosmos. Things that were delayed for months or even years, can manifest in days. March and April are extra special in the way that there is a TON of Aries energy which amps up the direct forward motion radically. This is a rare time where new beginnings are supremely supported and things that were blocked for months or even years can race forward at lightning speed.

After April 7, we start the slide into the inward and backward flow of Mercury retrograde. This is the critical point where the tides that had been flowing out, start flowing in. Changes to plans, schedule shifts, uncertainty, confusion, appliances, devices, and vehicles going haywire, blocks to planning ahead, miscommunications, and major focus on past events and people become the norm for this time. It can be an amazing time for clearing up unfinished business, reveling in what you have created/enjoying the fruits of your labors, fun connections with people you don’t usually get to connect with often, and my favorite, “last-minute magic”. The more you keep your schedule as open as possible, the less rescheduling you will have to do when plans inevitably shift and the more space you have to say YES to wonderful offers and invites that come out-of-the-blue.

The Sun sizzles through your sector of children and creativity this month.  Activities, issues, and opportunities involving children, your own or others, or other creative endeavors, take center-stage this month.  This is an amazing time to take an art class or cozy up with awesome art tools and go crazy.  Hidden interests or talents may be revealed and these are more likely to be discovered if you try different things.  

For parents or parents-to-be, learning more about parenting from experts is a wonderful area of focus always but especially this month. Unresolved issues involving children or having children are likely to come up this month.  Definitely take seriously anything coming up in these areas as there is likely much to uncover now you can receive great help to find answers and solutions.

The Sun whirls through your 4th house this month bringing focus on home, real estate, and home-based ventures.

The desire to spruce up or organize home may be strong at this time. This can be an amazing time for researching big design, building, decorating projects, and doing basic maintenance, repair and sprucing up. 

This is also a fantastic month for cozying up at home. A fun project at this time is to do some Feng Shui treatments to your home. Deep cleaning, clearing clutter, and reorganizing is also in great alignment now.

The Sun brightens your 3rd house of mobility this month bringing a whirlwind of activity.  Keeping balance may be a bit tougher this month as your list of activities, events, and other projects builds.

The 3rd house rules travel so you may find yourself on the road more than usual or catching a plane, boat, train, or bus to adventures, obligations, or both. You also may find yourself not traveling but planning a future trip.

The Sun in this placement brings focus to your communication sector so you may find you are chatting it up more than usual and that opportunities for social (online and in-person) abound.  This transit definitely brings an increase in likelihood of a very fun and busy social calendar, which even if it isn’t ‘in person’ events, could take place through online gatherings or other virtual connections. The Sun rolls through your 2nd house this month bringing great opportunities for making more money.  Earned income often sees a boost during this transit.   If you have money-making ideas or anything related to business goals, this could be a great time to research or take big or small or steps along your continuum. 

Finances could definitely see some improvements and also note that spending also tends to increase during this transit, too. So while you see the increase in the amount coming it will likely translate to an increase in the amount going out, especially if you don’t specifically make an effort to not have your spending rise with your income. If you put aside a certain percentage of your new increased income, you will likely be glad you did.

Sometimes the Sun moving through this house brings information or insight about blocks to financial prosperity.  Seeing the issue(s) more clearly can help to bring resolution.  Some work may have to be donee other strategy to help increase extra income and the usage of income that comes in is very prudent now.  Setting financial goals and getting educated or having other support to reach them can make your money dreams a reality in the future and work you did on this topic in the past could come to fruition now in a big way. 

The urge to buy luxury or more expensive items may be strong now. This transit could bring in your ideal high ticket item that you have been wanting or it could bring you clarity about what you want, which will help you draw it to you.

The Sun in this sector also brings opportunities to re-evaluate your value system. What is most important to you in your life?  Is the amount of time you are spending on those most important things in the right ratio compared to their importance to you? Asking bigger questions about things like this now will lead to valuable insights. 

The sector of your chart highlighted now also has to do with sustainability on any and all levels.  Asking questions about your imprint and sustainability of your lifestyle is well-favored now.  Taking measures to conserve or live lighter and more simply may be topics that come into the forefront.

It is interesting that this same house that rules luxury items also rules simple living.  Rolling around in the possibilities of this spectrum is what is being brought up now.  Some who have been living with a lot of excess may be drawn to pare down, and some who have been living with the bare essentials may be drawn to expand their interactions with the material realm.  Either way that feels true to you is perfect 🙂

Your self-value translated out into the material realm is also a major topic with this transit.  Your earning power may be your most valuable asset.  It may be time to think about how to invest in your earning power as your greatest investment.

December 2022 brings us to the end of the “eclipse season” that began in September.  The heat of the season was really cooking in October and November with major news and events from the Taurus/Scorpio eclipses. The “Me/We” and “My stuff/Our stuff” polarities have been supercharged from these eclipses. Big news and changes to finances and relationships are increased for all signs. See my Youtube horoscopes (or syndicated podcast, Astro Kisses with Annie Botticelli) for October and November 2022 to see additional sign-specific manifestations and the eclipse themes discussed in general and for each sign for October and November will likely echo out through December, as well. While some big events could still roll in, this month will mostly shift us out of the eclipse drama phase and into the integration phase. The non-negotiable endings, exciting new beginnings, profound spiritual transformation, and surprising trajectory shifts that occurred in the previous weeks/months will start to take better shape now.

The tides are still strongly flowing inward and backward as Mars is still in retrograde. Dealing with things that come in to you on the tides, clearing up unfinished business, editing or revising, and leaving space for last minute magic. Look out for sudden surprise opportunities ( I like to call this “Last-Minute Magic”) that tend to arise during the retro times. 

Mercury will also go retrograde again in December bringing lots of changes to schedules and plans. Writing plans in pencil instead of pen and leaving flexibility in your commitments this month will bring greater ease, especially from December 12 onward. Being the spider and letting things come to you instead of stretching too far to find them will help you to better focus on giving attention to what shows up. It may not be the best time for planning things in the short or long term but it is great for being present for opportunities that come in suddenly and being present with what needs your attention rather than conjuring projects. It is also an excellent time for research, education, and vision boarding.

Sagittarius energies dominate the first 3 weeks of December. Fun, frolic, and festivities abound as the spiral whirlwind of Sagittarius brings fresh busy-ness and options. Topics like writing, publishing, travel, languages and cultures, international business and immigration are all more likely to take front and center. Buoyancy, hope and enthusiasm get a boost with the Sagittarius placements and the moving direct of its ruler, Jupiter, very recently on November 23. This direct movement will bring life back into many  projects that started to wilt in July.

Mars in Gemini brings fun relief in your busy schedule and just enough distraction for you to return refreshed to your list of things to do. If you are a writer or are otherwise creating spoken, written, or other crafts, you will be highly creative and soar through your projects. Working in short spurts might help you to be the most productive.

Capricorn energies start to solidify later in the month and ground out the spiraling frenzy of the previous weeks. It is a great time to get organized, mop up messes made by the recent activities. Things involving discipline and structure will be easier to muster towards the end of the month and these productive energies continue through most of January 2023.
